First off, I am in a a open, relationship and we are looking for a girlfriend (triad relationship) and even possibly a boyfriend (won't rule out the possibility). I read a lot, have an eclectic music collection and am a pretty hardcore geek. I'm a smoker even though I know how bad it is for me and drink socially. If you manage to get me drunk I'll most likely sing you out of tune Warren Zevon songs. Sweet Jesus, I hate filling stuff like this out, but hell, everyone says that on here. I'm an ordained minister, but I did it online and won't try to convert you or anything; I only use it to perform weddings for friends. I'm only evangelical about music. I've got a B.A. in Theatre Performance, an Assoc. in Liberal Arts and a Minor in Philosophy, which all goes a long way to explain why I work in a warehouse and fill in at a bookstore now. I like dancing, but only in dark, loud clubs with lots of folk dressed in black. I'm very picky about booze and movies. I can be a cynical bastard and a hopeless romantic at the same time. It's a gift.
Also, I don't wear a cowboy hat as often as my pictures may indicate.

I am here to enjoy and experience life. If there is anything to complain about it's not having enough time to do what you want to do. Right now I'm doing it and it is keeping me extremely busy.

I enjoy spontaneity. Experiencing new things on a regular basis has taught me much of what I know today. Additionally, spontaneity makes me feel like life is continuing onward with a sense of momentum which gives me a sense of security in a way. A dull life is unfortunate--the only gray area is that people have different views of a dull life.

In regards to relationships my philosophies are developing. I've had long relationships in the past and from each one I have taken new understandings. Right now I feel like I have simplified relationships down to two things and one of those things is happiness. As long as the other person makes me happy then things will work out on my end. The same goes for their perspective, if I can make them happy then things will work out for them as well.

The second thing is understanding. Understanding is a huge symbol of love and every relationship needs partners who can understand each other. This just shows that each partner is eager and willing to get to truly know the other person. Understanding also leads to spontaneous romantic things. If this is solid then long-term happiness in a relationship shouldn't be too far out of reach.

It's not very easy for me to talk to people face to face when I don't know them well, but once I'm sure that they're not going to kill me I start to get comfortable and open up. Sometimes I'm not very... mainstream, but I think before I talk, sometimes too much. As a matter of fact, if I had an issue, it's that I over-think things.

Like everyone else, I also think it's next to impossible to give a true depiction of myself into words on this thing, but I'll try. Well, the reason I'm here is because I'm semi-new to the area, I moved here 2 years ago for college and don't know the place well. I love traveling though, and would love to find someone to take me around and show me everything I've been missing :).

Hello, it's me. I know your out there. I like to listen to music. I listen to all different kinds, but mostly pop/rock. I love to go to concerts. I like some movies....but in the long run...all that is not so important. I am not looking for someone who likes everything the same as me because sometimes trying new things can be fun as long as you don't want me to jump out of a plane or anything extreme.

welcome, i just had some changes in my profile so crack ur knuckles and be prepared...da daa DAAAAH! lol im an artist at heart and love it. although its one of few things i usually do best, i barely practice it anymore, shame shame. but give me a stick of conte or a pencil and i can make u anything, give me a minute tho. im not a drinker but i could always use a couple straight swiggs of gin or brandy, sometimes yagger. i smoke,of course. weed and cigs, thats all tho. i would like to be fit more than wat i am but i have no energy to work out like i use 2, its depressing. no religious beliefs here, infact no beliefs at all. i have my own thoughts of life and live by them, i dont think im doin bad by just livin. ive been to college for motorcycles and art but had my kid and kinda stop goin. im no dummy so dont get it twisted. my GPA was 3.8 b4 i dropped out so i would like to go back one day. i like long drives but never really traveled. i guess u could say i dont wanna go anywhere specific, but just grab a map of the US and just leave and never give anyone a day when ill b back. idk, it sounds fun to me.

Well I was a senior at Eastern Michigan University; however I just received my degree in Business Administration (which I have no idea what I'm going to do with). Now I a graduate student at Easten Michigan University in the Higher Education - Student Affairs program. I'm from Lorain, Ohio. I usual live in Sheffield Lake, Ohio when I not at school. I like to have myself a good time. I like to travel and like to hang out with my friends and watch movies. I like to interact with people. I'm a pretty easy going fellow and is just trying to get through life. I excited and interested what the future has in store for me. This should be an interesting future as of right now. I'm finallly getting used to being back at school. I was off from May to December because my father was hospitalized for the whole smmer and I couldn't come back to school until the winter semester. It took me while to get back in the groove of things but half way through I think I'm finally getting through. I'm not lost and confused anymore lol. I still don't know what I want to do for the summer to take classes are go back to home and get a summer job. Time will tell though. School is getting better and excited about the in what is going to happen. Enough about school... like I said I'm a easy going guy. I am pretty apathic as well too, but thats how I am. I don't let things get to me because if I really cared what people thought I would be depressed lol. No be really I like to be laid back it makes things easier that way. With my life I figured that I just need to keep on doing what do and I will make things fun. I am a type and person that people might think I am crazy but they would also agree that I am fun. I like to not be bored all the time. I like to do things at random just to keep life interesting. I also like to hang out with friends and go out a lot when I get a chance. I hate being cooped up at my apartment because I am a type of a person that likes to be out and about. It is just in my nature just not to be bored. I hate being bored that is the thing I hate the most that's why I try not to get bored.

Well I am pretty much just trying to get through school these days. When I have free time I like to paint. It is really important to me, even if I'm not the best at it. I also love spending time outdoors doing things like camping or kayaking. I love going to concerts, and just listening to music in general.

I can be very shy but once people get to know me they soon find out that I'm funny, trustworthy, and generally a good guy. I love to watch sports, my favorite sport is baseball. I'm a die hard Detroit Tigers fan. For the most part I have a sunny disposition. I tend to think of the positive things in my life when ever I get upset. I'm also big on traveling and like to be outdoors. I've been to almost every state in the US. I lived in Australia for a month, been on two cruises. The most fun I had was when I work at Sea World in Orlando over the summer. . My fears are heights, snakes, spiders, and public speaking.

As far as movies, I like action and drama the most-the more of a message the movie has, the more likely I am to enjoy it. But I also appreciate good comedy (and some bad).
When I'm not reading something, I'm not happy. Times in between novels are difficult for me. I write frequently, but solely for my own pleasure.
I am an advocate for and lover of piercings and tattoos, and believe wholeheartedly that businesses should be considered discriminatory when they turn away an applicant based on their possession of either of these things.
Education is extremely important to me, be it formally or personally carried out.
As far as politics go, I'm a liberal with moderate tendencies. I'm not as well educated politically as I would like to be, and this is something I'm striving to change.
Organized religion is not a part of my life. I would call myself agnostic. I have a deep affinity and respect for the elderly and truly believe that they are one of the most overlooked demographics in western society. Aside from being people who deserve rights and respect like the rest of us, they are also a fount of valuable knowledge. I believe that if we listened to and acted on what our older population has to tell us, we would be in a much better place than we are now.

I can talk at length about topics that make most people uncomfortable- nothing is taboo in my book. I love board games (not Monopoly), red wine, cleaning my glasses on my shirt and wandering around Meijer at all hours of the night.

I'm a little bit of a wild card, actually. Normally, I'm outgoing, friendly and the life of the party. But at heart, I'm kind of shy and quiet. I can also be anything in between.

I'm a 21 year old college student who transferred from Schoolcraft Community College to Eastern Michigan to pursue a degree in elementary education. I have a fairly unique sense of humor and I generally try to look on the bright side of life. I write stories, poems, plays, songs, and I play music. I know how to play guitar, a little piano, and I'm learning a little harmonica. I love acting on stage. I love being outside on a nice day. there are many things about me that could fill a book, and sometimes it seems as if my life has been lifted from a picaresque novel. if only i knew the ending! is it tragic or redemptive? i like to rewrite it in my imagination repeatedly: i find a fascinating woman who loves art and literature, and yet loves the world of the senses, right here on ok cupid!

most likely a ribald fantasy too viscous for the penny dreadfuls even! i need a companion who is willing to get to actually know me and not artificially encapsulate me within cliches. i really do have a lot of love to offer, am kind of nerdy, but hip, rough but tender, laid back but intense - a sequence of contradictions! a cipher even to myself!
